Coupler Enables Decentralized Networks

The 750-352 ECO Ethernet Fieldbus Coupler is designed to enable the transition from centralized PAC/PLCs to flexible, decentralized networks. The ECO Coupler supports prominent protocols such as Modbus TCP/IP and EtherNet/IP, and accommodates 64 I/O modules. Well-suited for applications with medium I/O counts, the 750-352 allows integrators to reduce costs via economical distributive controls. The DIN-rail mount, UL listed ECO Coupler ensures reliable data transmission and highspeed communication via a 10/100 Mbit/s Ethernet port, says the vendor. The ECO Coupler’s compatibility with the 300+ analog, digital and specialty modules within the vendor’s I/O-System provides customization of distributive control applications.Wago Corp. www.wago.us 800. Slip Rings Deliver Power/Signals

Slip Rings for industrial applications can be configured for both power connections and signal connections. The signal portion of the slip rings is designed for compatibility to Ethernet, Profinet, RS-232, RS-485, RS-422 and CAN as well as generic analog or digital sensing and 24V control signals. These slip rings can be used in a variety of uses such as wind turbines, robotics, industrial machinery (textile, bottling, and packaging, for example), test equipment, commercial displays, and crane and hoist controls.A Slip Ring is an electrical device that allows the transmission of power and electrical signals from a stationary to a rotating structure.Deublin Co.Www.DEUBLIN.com 847. 689.8600

Six-port Unmanaged Ethernet Switch

Housed in a hardened, metal, DIN-Rail enclosure, the 106FX2 is a low-cost, unmanaged, six-port Industrial Ethernet switch designed for use in industrial data acquisition, control, and Ethernet I/O applications.Product features include: compact size and small footprint; unmanaged operation; full IEEE 802.3 compliance; four 10/100BaseTX RJ-45 ports; two 100BaseFX ports with ST or SC connectors; extended environmental specification; -40°C to 70°C operating temperature; rugged DIN-rail enclosure; ESD and surge protection diodes on all ports; redundant power inputs (10-30VDC); LED link/activity status; and auto sensing duplex, speed and MDIX on copper ports. 2-port Serial-to-USB Converter

The Devolinx UTS-402CK is an industrial USB to 2-port RS-232/422/485 converter with locking feature. The UTS-402CK is designed for Pcs, thin clients, or servers to provide instant COM port expansion via the Universal Serial Bus (USB). More importantly, the UTS-402CK supports a screw lock feature for the upstream (USB type B) connector with the screw lock USB cables. This feature helps prevent disconnecting the USB cable accidentally. Key features of the UTS-402CK include 2 RS-232/422/485 serial ports over USB2.0 Port; USB 2.0 High Speed (480Mbits/Second) and Full Speed (12Mbits/Second) compatible; and 4 modes: RS-232, RS-422, 4-wire and 2-wire RS-485.Aaxeon Technologies Inc. www.aaxeon.com 714. 671.9000

EtherNet/IP Simplifies Robot Integration

A new EtherNet/IP option for the vendor’s RC7 robot controller allows a single cable to connect the robot controller with a programmable logic controller (PLC), which simplifies integration and reduces the cost of robot set-up and hardware. The EtherNet/IP cable quickly and easily plugs into a dedicated port on both the robot controller and PLC, eliminating the need to hand-wire and route parallel I/O terminals, which can amount to dozens or even hundreds for a single robot. “Especially when multiple robots are involved, EtherNet/IP can drastically cut set-up time and hardware costs. Having only one cable per robot also makes integration easier,” said Peter Cavallo, robotics sales manager at the vendor.Denso Robotics www.densorobotics.com88. 4.ROBOTX

Flexible Managed Ethernet Switch

The JetNet 5018G industrial managed gigabit Ethernet Din-Rail switch was specifically designed for large network applications requiring high-port density and secure connection. Equipped with 16 fast Ethernet ports and 2 Gigabit SFP combo ports, the switch is capable of aggregating up to 8 fast Ethernet and 1 Gigabit fiber/copper rings while ensuring network reliability for various distance applications. The switch offers advanced Layer 2 management features, including LLDP and JetView Pro, QoS, 255 VLAN, IGMP Snooping, GMRP, SNMP, as well as the MSR and RSTP network redundancy technologies. With the non-blocking switching performance, the switches provide 12.8G backplane that ensures the traffic switching without data loss and blocking. The switch supports up to 9K Jumbo frame, which allows transmitting larger files with fewer segments.Korenix Technology Co.
