For those of you who have been devoted readers of the MS Exchange since its first publication in 1988 when it was printed on a copying machine, this issue is bringing us into a new era for our newsletter. It will now be an online publication only. It will continue to be published quarterly with special sections for IOMSN and IOMSRT, and news and updates for all members of the MS team, but it allows the CMSC to continue to provide you with the latest information via 21st century technology.

We have had a successful and busy year thus far with the largest Annual Meeting attendance ever! Close to 1,800 attendees joined us in San Diego for a program full of information, opportunities for interaction, and exciting social events. We also had the largest array of exhibitors with products and services for all those affected by MS and for the professionals on the MS Team. We were pleased to welcome over 100 international delegates, a number that consistently grows from year to year. We will be in Orlando in 2013, holding our 27th Annual Meeting of the CMSC in cooperation with ACTRIMS. This will be our fifth cooperative event. We have announced our first call for abstracts as of August 1, 2012, so visit our website.

As the CMSC has grown, so have the programs of the Foundation of the CMSC. Each year, the FCMSC supports research conducted by medical students under the aegis of leading MS experts. We welcomed a number of these professionals, along with a number of neurology residents and fellows, to San Diego. It was a great Opportunity to meet the next generation of MS professionals and to learn from them as they learned from the faculty.

I want to thank our braod of gourmers for the ongoing leadership and vision that have made the CMSC grow in both breadth and stature since its founding in 1986 i also wish to acknowledge the terrific administrative staff of the CMSC, who work long and hard to makes organization operate efficiently and caringly. Everyone in hackensack works together to make each preject and activity reflect the vision and mission of your organization their work is beyound excellent and very much appreciated by the Board of Governors and me.

Welcome to the new format of the MS Exchange!
