The Biggest Hoaxes of the Trump Era That Have Gone Up in Smoke 2021 was a tough year for the main-stream media. With Donald Trump out of office, its 24/7 manufactured outrage over every action he took was no longer a viable playbook for driving ratings. But the real blow to the liberal news machine was the dismantling of the narratives that had for so long shaped their coverage of seemingly every major news event.
